Qubair in da house!!

Like i have mentioned before, i do musics, guitar and lots of other instruments. In my hometown Melaka, my friends and I have formed a band named 「クバイル」Qubair consists of 5 members.

Means behind?
The origin of Qubair's name is from Kelantan, which from the word, khuba air or khubair which means kerbau air, a name of aquatic bull or in English, sea bull.

My friends give me that name and i simply agreed it =P

Broadband

26th October - I bought a broadband modem of vodafone, and package of RM68/month for 3g only, 5GB limit of internet access and with speed of 384kbps. This is my first experience using broadband.


Here in Terengganu, the connection is sometimes ok sometimes not ok, maybe because of the area located way from the city of Kuala Terengganu.



Prime Period - Prime period is around [7.00 p.m. to 12.30 p.m.] for weekdays while for weekends [8.00 a.m to 3.00 a.m] on the next day

Download - I have been using this one for about 3 weeks, and I have downloaded files about 7GB. Including 500 Anisongs, and some episodes of Kannagi, an anime.

Connection is still ok for the time being although i have used over the limit of 5GB.

Internet games - When i play online games like GO, Chess, and some other games, sometimes the line is really good. But sometimes I cant even connect to the server. Maybe the line is so busy for a broadband.

Chatting using Yahoo Messenger, ICQ, or Windows Live is compatible with this broadband speed. Fast ans smooth. No problem encountered so far when online. But once I signed out, it wont be easily able to be reconnected again.

Conclusion - For me, it is really worth more than RM68/ month for a high speed broadband like this.

AFA2009

AFA2009 will again take place in Singapore on 21st - 22nd of November 2009. But this time is kinda special than last times. They got K-On's seiyus in da house. They'll be performing dubbing life in front of the audience. Its a great pleasure to meet them.

Based on a four-panel comic strip written and illustrated by Kakifly, K-ON was adapted by Kyoto Animation into a TV animation. The story revolves around the four girls and their journey in reviving Sakuragaoka High School’s Light Music Club. During their second year, the club recruits another member, increasing the number to five.

“K-ON” depicts the girls’ carefree everyday life, and has become 2009’s most notable anime to date.

As the episodes continued to be aired on television, the show’s popularity grew quickly. A good example is the electric bass guitar that one of the characters uses. Stocks of it ran out, with sales figures surpassing those of the past two years. So powerful is the show’s appeal that even shops selling musical instruments integrate it into their marketing strategy to reach out to customers.

The K-ON! theme song and drama CDs have also topped the Oricon charts. The show was even awarded “Best Newcomer” on Chaku Uta Tunes’ Record Check Awards 2009, for the first half of the year! As a result, many television music programmes feature the show, something that is rarely seen, with professional musicians covering the theme songs.

The voice actresses of K-ON! will make an appearance for the first time overseas at AFA09. The cast will be doing a live dubbing a scene from the animation, in addition to a Question and Answer session on the main stage.
